Prepping for Winter and Spring 2018
The Winter 2017-18 and Spring 2018 schedules are available and the Advisement Verification Numbers (AVNs) are here!
If you can register before October 31, and you are my advisee, you should have received an e-mail, inviting you to schedule an appointment with me October 16-18. I will release these appointment slots to everyone else on October 9, so please schedule today!
Everyone else may schedule an appointment with me, for Winter and Spring planning, using the instructions below. There are openings from October 19 - 27. Again, I will open up the 16th through the 18th, once the priority registration students have had a chance to schedule their appointments.
If we have already met for Spring Planning, you will receive your AVN this week.

How to access and understand your degree audit:
Have you seen your degree audit? Your degree audit outlines everything that you will need to do in order to graduate from UAlbany. If you are undecided, but are thinking about several majors, your advisor probably listed a few majors on your degree audit, so that you could see what would be required.
When to register:
You may view your registration date on MyUAlbany. After you log in, click on the Academics tab, and then click on "When can I Enroll?" in the left menu. Select the appropriate semester. The earliest date and time shown will be your appointment date, the date you are able to register for classes. You should schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor, at least 1-2 weeks before that date. If you wait, you may not find a an appointment time, and you may have to wait.
How to Register. There are two ways to register. If you are new to UAlbany, you may have never even seen the registration screen on MyUAlbany. Let us rectify that! Come and meet with one of our peer advisors.
Schedule an Appointment using our online system.
You may need to have tissues on hand.
