TODAY is the LAST DAY to Withdraw from a semester length class and the LAST DAY to apply S/U grading to a semester length class.
Need help making a decision on whether or not S/U or W is for you?
I will have walk-in hours TODAY 1pm-5pm, SOLELY for my advisees who need help deciding what to do. I WILL NOT see students for Winter and Spring planning/AVNs during that time. If you have questions about this, just come in during that time. When you sign in at the kiosk, select “Walk in with MY advisor.” More information about the S/U Grading Option and Withdrawing may be found below.

Have you scheduled an appointment to meet with your advisor?
How to Schedule an Appointment with Me:
(For My Advisees)
Click on https://ualbany.campus.eab.com/
What should you know before meeting with me?
Our Peer Advisors can help you to prepare for our planning meeting/s.
NO APPOINTMENT is needed.
They are available 9am-5pm M-Th, and 9-11:30am, 12pm-5pm on Fridays.
How to access and understand your degree audit:
Have you seen your degree audit? Your degree audit outlines everything that you will need to do in order to graduate from UAlbany. If you are undecided, but are thinking about several majors, your advisor probably listed a few majors on your degree audit, so that you could see what would be required.

When to register:
My Advisees: You cannot register without, first meeting with me. You may view your registration date on MyUAlbany. After you log in, click on the Academics tab, and then click on "When can I Enroll?" in the left menu. Select the appropriate semester. The earliest date and time shown will be your appointment date, the date you are able to register for classes. You should schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor, at least 1-2 weeks before that date. If you wait, you may not find a an appointment time, and then you may really have to wait. I am booked this week, but I have plenty of space next week!
How to Register:
There are two ways to register. If you are new to UAlbany, you may have never even seen the registration screen on MyUAlbany. Let us rectify that! Come and meet with one of our peer advisors.
Know Thyself! Reflect, Reflect, Reflect:
Examine yourself and the person that you aim to be. Think about the life you want to live - even if you have no idea what career you want. Is what you are doing right now in line with what you really want? If no, let's break this down and make plans. You can also meet with the good folk in our Career and Professional Development Office.
Are You Struggling in a Class?
Do you know where to turn for help? If not, speak to your professor, and please let me know what is happening. I get paid to help you overcome hurdles, so please make use of me!
Another resource is UAlbany's Advising Plus advisors (my amazing colleagues) who are a one-stop-shop connecting our vast support services. Many tutoring services and other supports are offered within departments, so it is hard to go to one place and find everything that may be available to you. Advising Plus is at your service. You may contact them at email@example.com and ask for an appointment or a phone call to discuss where you are struggling.
Welcome! My name is Rachel Moody. I post weekly announcements and messages to motivate and inspire my UAlbany advisees, and any one else who visits. Comments are welcome! While you are here, have a virtual cup of tea!
